I loved wearing my Wonder Woman underoos when I was a kid.

A few holiday seasons ago, Gap came out with a 7 pack of underpants, each printed with a self-affirming message. Yesterday, I chose to remind myself that, "I am strong."

I withstood guilt trips, ridicule, attempts at mind twisting, and degradation, but I emerged the victor, having separated myself from my position of full-time employment, where I worked with many wonderful people and a couple of really rotten ones who spoiled the whole experience.

I am happy to report that I finally found a position doing sell-side equity research covering the business services sector. My new boss seems sane, down to earth, and nice... all important attributes that I have learned can not be taken for granted.
