Gotta Love Singing Puppets

I'm back from a long NYC weekend, a needed break from my contract consulting gig (although I did some work while on vacation - boo hoo!) and three other part-time jobs I'm piecing together in an attempt to create a career path, of sorts. I also needed the break away from an Internet connection, as I found myself getting addicted to Ebay.

While in New York, I attended a lavish wedding... and gained 3 pounds as a result. I stayed with Lori and witnessed that she has settled into school nicely and is on the path to selective business mastery. Also saw I-Fang and Sarah, both of whom are coming my way in a couple of weeks - who knew!

Perhaps a high point of the trip was getting tickets to see Avenue Q. When asked what the musical was about, I had to think about my answer. It's about puppets struggling with typical life problems in a funny, entertaining, musical fashion. What's not to love about such a premise?

Mounds of food, including street vender yummy gyro meat over rice, singing puppets, and time with friends made for an excellent trip.
